Civil Structural Construction Superintendent (LSNA-VA/NC)

Responsibilities Supervising construction workers and subcontractors, assigning tasks, and monitoring performance. Coordinating on‑site activities, including scheduling work sequences and managing material deliveries. Ensuring quality control by inspecting work and verifying construction methods. Managing project schedules and budgets, resolving delays or conflicts promptly to maintain timelines. Communicating effectively to report progress and address issues. Enforcing safety protocols and OSHA regulations, conducting safety meetings, and promoting a safe work environment. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or Engineering preferred; or equivalent years of experience in lieu of degree. At least 5 years of construction site experience. At least 10 years of experience as a general foreman, and/or superintendent. Demonstrated working knowledge of pre‑design and pre‑construction, building systems/components and technology, contract management, project delivery methods, team building and client relationship building required. Preferred Qualifications Pharma experience / GMP facilities. Collaborate in planning, design, construction and commissioning. Excellent communication skills. Knowledge in use of software such as PowerPoint, Excel, Word, BlueBeam. Participate in walkdowns and meetings and/or reviews with owner and designers. Participating in constructability reviews. Facilitate client and construction meetings. Safety leader (JHA’s revision / daily signed off permits). QA construction. Turn over process including TOP’s, punch list and walkdowns with contractors and owners. Salary The base salary range for this position is $92,000.00 to $155,000.00. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job‑related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
