Details Work in the OB/GYN unit 3x12 shift schedule, either days (0700-1930) or nights (1900-0700) Requires every other weekend or 3rd weekend commitment Must be competent in Antepartum, OB Triage, Labor and Delivery, Nursery, and Post-Partum care Skills utilized include NST, external fetal monitoring, and recognition/treatment of abnormal fetal heart rate patterns Requirements Active Minnesota RN license in hand or proof of Minnesota license application required at time of consideration Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, NRP, and Fetal Heart Monitoring (FHM) AWHONN Intermediate certification preferred Minimum 1 year of RN experience, with strong OB experience required Charge nurse experience preferred Skills in postpartum care, couplet care, and postpartum hemorrhage management preferred MedSurg experience is an additional asset Must complete Livescan fingerprinting in person in Minnesota on the Monday prior to the scheduled start date Must complete required lab work within 48 hours of signing contract Additional Information Must reside more than 25 miles from the facility; local candidates within this radius are not accepted Former permanent staff must be separated from the facility for at least 9 months before returning as a traveler Maximum of 7 days RTO permitted, with no RTO allowed during the first 2 weeks of the assignment All RTO requests must be disclosed and approved at the time of consideration Holiday coverage required as needed by the facility Travelers requesting a medical or religious vaccine exemption must submit appropriate documentation First-time travelers are not preferred for this assignment American Traveler Job ID P-750114.
