Temporary Credentialing Specialist

The Credentialing Specialist will coordinate allprovider credentialing activities to ensure compliance with organizationalstandards and timely participation within the healthcare network. This rolerequires maintaining accuracy and efficiency in credentialing andre-credentialing processes, managing confidential provider information, andsupporting credentialing committee operations. Compensation: $24 - $28Per Hour Schedule: Monday – Friday 8:30 am-5:30 pm (ongoing assignment needs) Key Responsibilities: Coordinate and manage the providercredentialing and re-credentialing process to ensure deadlines are metefficiently. Investigate and resolve credentialing andenrollment delays or issues promptly. Maintain accurate and up-to-date demographicinformation and credentialing databases. Handle confidential information related tointernal staff, including Physicians and Nurse Practitioners, withdiscretion. Prepare and organize documentation forCredentialing Committee review. Maintain logs, records, and documentation tomeet credentialing requirements and ensure timely renewals. Generate productivity and issue reports formanagement review. Stay current with industry policies, standards,and regulations related to provider credentialing and enrollment. Perform additional duties as assigned bymanagement. Qualifications: Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred,or equivalent work experience. Minimum of 3+ years’ experience in providercredentialing. Experience with credentialing in a healthplan setting preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite(Excel, Outlook, Word). Strong organizational skills with ability tomultitask efficiently and effectively. Excellent problem-solving and timemanagement abilities. Ability to maintain confidentiality andhandle sensitive information professionally.
