Senior Commercial HVAC Service TechnicianWe are seeking an experienced Senior Commercial HVAC Service Technician to join an established and growing mechanical services team in Charlotte. This is an opportunity to work with a large, experienced service department while enjoying a schedule designed to provide better work-life balance than many traditional commercial service roles. The ideal candidate brings strong commercial HVAC troubleshooting experience and, importantly, must have hands-on experience working with condenser water systems at some point in their career.As a Senior HVAC Service Technician, you will provide expert-level service, maintenance, diagnostics, and troubleshooting for commercial and industrial HVAC systems throughout the Charlotte market. Key responsibilities include:Diagnose, troubleshoot, service, and repair commercial and industrial HVAC equipment.Perform preventative maintenance, inspections, and system performance testing.Work with condenser water systems, cooling towers, water-cooled chillers, pumps, and associated commercial HVAC equipment.Troubleshoot complex mechanical, electrical, and controls-related issues.Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical documentation.Identify equipment or system issues and recommend appropriate repair or replacement solutions.Communicate professionally with customers and serve as a trusted technical resource.Complete service reports, work orders, warranty documentation, and other required paperwork accurately.Collaborate with other technicians, operations, sales, and project teams as needed.Provide guidance and mentorship to less-experienced technicians.Maintain high standards for safety, workmanship, and customer service.What you need to succeed:5+ years of commercial HVAC service experience.Previous hands-on experience with condenser water systems is required.Strong knowledge of commercial HVAC equipment and systems.Experience with equipment such as cooling towers, water-cooled chillers, condenser water loops, and pumps highly preferred.Advanced diagnostic and troubleshooting abilities.Strong understanding of HVAC controls and electrical components.Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, drawings, and technical documents.Strong customer service and communication skills.Ability to work independently while also being part of a larger service team.Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.Safety-focused approach to all service and maintenance work.BenefitsHealth & WellnessComprehensive Medical, Dental & Vision InsuranceShort- & Long-Term DisabilityFlexible Spending Account (FSA) optionsLife InsuranceWork-Life BalancePaid Time Off (PTO) that grows with tenureVery limited on-call responsibilitiesNo required weekend workOptional overtime opportunitiesEstablished service team providing additional coverage and supportFinancial Future401(k) with company matching contributionEmployee ownership/profit-sharing programPaid dividendsOpportunity to financially benefit from the company's continued growth and success
