Purchasing Coordinator

Role: Purchasing Administrator (Temporary) Company: Confidential – Design-Driven Consumer Hardware Company Industry: Consumer Electronics / Cannabis Technology Pay Rate: $34.00/hour Location: Downtown Los Angeles (Hybrid) About the Role Our client, a design-driven consumer electronics company operating in the cannabis technology space, is seeking a Temporary Purchasing Administrator to support the finance team during a planned leave. This role plays a key part in maintaining the accuracy and integrity of financial records, supporting vendor management, purchase orders, and key closing processes. If you have a strong accounting background, are highly proficient in Excel, and have experience working with ERP systems, this is a great opportunity to join an innovative, fast-paced organization. Key Responsibilities Set up new vendors and ensure timely, accurate invoice entry Manage purchase orders from creation through close/completion Perform general ledger reconciliations to ensure accuracy and integrity Assist with month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes Support annual financial audits and ensure compliance and accurate reporting Assist with special projects and other finance-related duties as needed Qualifications 3–5 years of relevant accounting experience, ideally within a corporate or finance environment BA/BS degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field Technical Skills Strong understanding of US GAAP accounting principles Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, etc.) Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar) Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy Strong organizational and time-management skills Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment Please Note: This role requires someone who can start immediately after interviews and is not currently employed full-time.
