Cardiac Rhythm Management Clinical Specialist - Gainsville/Athens/Gwinnett

Medtronic seeks a Clinical Specialist to provide technical, educational, and operational support for cardiac rhythm management devices across the Baltimore territory. The role combines clinical expertise with field sales support, requiring extensive travel and availability for urgent customer needs.
Responsibilities
- Perform technical support for CRM devices including system checks, implant assistance, troubleshooting, and device interrogations
- Coordinate patient documentation, manage inventory and equipment resources, maintain programmer software, and support clinic logistics
- Educate physicians, hospital staff, and field teams on CRM products, therapies, and clinical applications
- Support sales activities by identifying customer opportunities, monitoring competitive trends, and providing market feedback
- Travel extensively within Baltimore territory (approximately 80%) to support customer clinics and hospitals
Requirements
- High school diploma plus 6+ years healthcare/field sales experience, or associate degree plus 4+ years, or bachelor degree plus 2+ years
- Bachelor's degree preferred in nursing, life sciences, or biomedical engineering
- 2+ years experience in catheterization lab, electrophysiology lab, or hospital cardiology setting
- Valid driver's license with active auto insurance and acceptable driving record
- Medical terminology knowledge and familiarity with medical device industry
- Ability to obtain vendor credentialing and manage multiple concurrent projects
