Registered Nurse

This position requires the nurse to accept assignment and start their role. The unit manager may assign you to an "Emergency Team" where expectations may vary. Specific details related to pay will be communicated during emergency events. You are expected to report as assigned by your unit manager if an emergency event occurs. You should only apply if you are comfortable with these expectations. Special procedures include TPN, wound care, drainage, foley, and narcotic administration. Daily patient census averages 28 with a maximum of 35 beds. The unit will accept first-time travelers. Block scheduling will be considered. The patient demographics include adults and geriatrics. Interdisciplinary support from various healthcare professionals will be available. Patient diagnoses may vary and may require complex care. Daily responsibilities include but are not limited to management of various patient conditions. Compliance with required certifications and reporting standards is essential. Candidates must have up-to-date references ready if required for clearance. Please ensure all necessary certifications and documentation are current. You are expected to maintain a high standard of care and professionalism. This position may require participation in the management of patient care in emergency situations.
