Manager Accountant, Tax (DALLAS, TX)

Overview We have a tremendous opportunity for a Manager Accountant to play a key role on our Tax team. We are looking for candidates residing in and around Dallas, Texas. As a highly valued member of our firm, you will work closely with the Tax team to provide timely, accurate, and reliable completion of client engagements. We focus on work/life balance for all employees. Responsibilities Prepare and/or review complex business and individual tax returns. Develop effective working relationships with clients to provide innovative tax planning, consulting, and compliance services. Identify and research tax issues, develop resolutions, and prepare written conclusions. Assist with the development, training, and mentoring of staff and interns. Recognize opportunities to provide new and innovative services. Show willingness to learn new tax skills across the diverse client base, including public company tax, banking and financial industry, international, cross‑border, expatriate compliance, and transaction advisory services. Qualifications Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in accounting. Active CPA certification. Minimum of five years of tax experience in a public accounting firm or equivalent experience. Ability and willingness to travel. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and aptitude to learn firm technology. Ability to present and adapt to future technology needs. Hours of Operation Office hours: 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. Summer hours: 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., Monday through Thursday, and 8:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. on Friday (discretionary).
