Data Center Infrastructure / Construction Senior Director

Construction Director This role is responsible for driving field execution, contractor performance, construction productivity, sequencing alignment, logistics coordination, and recovery execution across active projects. It requires a strong field presence across active projects with onsite engagement of approximately 60%–80% depending on project phase. Responsibilities Lead construction execution across active Wisconsin data center projects Manage GC performance, accountability, and execution standards Drive site execution standards and field productivity Support workface planning, trade flow, and sequencing alignment Oversee logistics coordination across active construction areas Lead recovery execution and construction issue resolution Support construction manpower strategy and contractor planning Coordinate installation quality with project, QA/QC, and commissioning teams Validate trade flow, logistics, sequencing, and contractor performance in the field Resolve cross-site execution friction and escalate risks when needed Ensure construction turnover supports startup flow and downstream readiness Required Skills and Experience Strong experience leading construction execution in data center, mission‑critical, infrastructure, or large‑scale construction environments Proven ability to manage general contractors, subcontractors, field teams, and construction leadership Strong understanding of construction sequencing, site logistics, workface planning, and trade coordination Experience driving recovery plans, schedule adherence, field productivity, and contractor accountability Ability to identify execution risks, remove blockers, and resolve cross‑functional construction issues Strong knowledge of installation quality, turnover readiness, and construction‑to‑commissioning handoff requirements Excellent field leadership, communication, and escalation skills Ability to influence across project teams, contractors, vendors, and leadership stakeholders Strong focus on safety, quality, accountability, execution discipline, and delivery flow Primary Focus Areas Regional construction execution leadership Field productivity and delivery flow optimization Contractor performance and accountability Workface planning, sequencing, and logistics coordination Construction recovery planning and execution Installation quality coordination and turnover readiness On‑Site Expectations Expected onsite engagement includes: Walking active sites regularly when present Leading execution reviews and recovery alignment discussions Assessing execution flow, trade coordination, logistics, and field productivity firsthand Engaging directly with contractor leadership and field teams Validating recovery effectiveness and construction readiness Ensuring field leadership accountability across active projects Success in This Role Looks Like Sites operate efficiently and predictably Trades flow effectively with minimal congestion Contractors execute against agreed plans and expectations Recovery actions are implemented quickly and effectively Rework is minimized through strong execution discipline Construction turnover supports commissioning and startup flow Field teams understand priorities, constraints, and accountability expectations Construction risks are identified early and resolved proactively Key Deliverables Construction execution plans Site sequencing strategies Recovery plans Contractor performance reviews Site logistics and trade flow assessments Construction turnover readiness reports Field productivity and execution updates Cross‑site risk and issue escalation updates Key Performance Indicators Installation productivity Schedule adherence Field congestion reduction Rework reduction Contractor performance Recovery execution effectiveness Construction turnover readiness Field execution predictability Safety and quality performance Qualifications Disclaimer: Certain U.S. based or U.S. customer or client‑facing roles may be required to comply with applicable requirements, such as immunization/occupational health mandates, and/or drug testing requirements.
