Quality checks are performed prior to the product being painted. May also do some spot weldingAssembler Key Requirements:High School Diploma or GEDSteel toed shoes, ability to lift up to 50 poundsAbility to use power tools such as a drill, read a tape measure and blueprints and understand work ordersWilling to work overtime on Fridays with occasional SaturdaysLongevity: minimum of 6 months in last jobOk working in a facility with no air conditioningBroad experience is a plus. Examples include: mechanical assembly, machine operating, welding, material handling, shippingAssembler Key Responsibilities:Read blueprints and understanding work ordersUtilize a variety of hand tools to assemble various parts onto Roof Hatches, Smoke Vents, and Access Panels.Assemble all metal hardware (hinges, slam latch, spring packages, pyro latches, etc.)Prepare panels for painting by putting insulation in and hanging panels on hooks.Package completed assemblies and fill ordersCross train in various departments to fill in when neededMay also do some spot weldingJoin Us.
