An established Texas litigation firm is seeking an experienced Senior Insurance Defense Trial Attorney to join its growing practice. This opportunity is ideal for a seasoned litigator with 10+ years of civil litigation experience who is looking for a clear path toward partnership. If you're a confident first-chair trial attorney who enjoys trying cases and leading litigation strategy, you'll have the opportunity to handle high-exposure matters while working directly with firm leadership. The practice focuses on trucking and transportation litigation, insurance defense, personal injury defense, and other complex civil litigation matters. What You’ll Do Lead all phases of litigation from case assignment through trial. Develop case strategy and manage complex defense matters. Take and defend depositions, argue motions, and attend hearings. Serve as first-chair trial counsel in jury trials. Advise insurance carrier and corporate clients throughout the litigation process. Work with expert witnesses and prepare complex cases for trial. Mentor junior attorneys and contribute to the continued growth of the litigation team. Support business development efforts and strengthen client relationships. Qualifications Required 10+ years of civil litigation experience. Demonstrated experience serving as first-chair trial counsel. Experience handling trucking, transportation, insurance defense, personal injury defense, or other complex civil litigation matters. Strong courtroom, deposition, negotiation, and client communication skills. Preferred Existing relationships within the insurance or transportation industries.
