Assurance Manager - Healthcare Solutions

EA Talent Solutions has been engaged by a Top 50 CPA firm to identify an Assurance Manager for its rapidly growing Healthcare Solutions practice . The team serves a diverse client base, including multi-physician groups, nursing homes, continuing care communities, ambulatory surgery centers, and behavioral health organizations. This role offers significant visibility and growth potential, working closely with the National Practice Leader, and requires strong engagement management and team leadership skills. Key Responsibilities Manage healthcare engagements including compilations, reviews, Yellow Book audits, and GAAP audits Lead engagement planning, staffing, budgeting, and execution Evaluate internal controls and oversee work programs and time budgets Review financial statements, disclosures, and related deliverables Communicate key findings and technical issues to leadership and clients Monitor engagement progress and budgets, addressing scope changes as needed Ensure high-quality client service through proactive communication and timely delivery Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field 5+ years of public accounting experience in audit/assurance Strong GAAP background with understanding of cash-basis tax accounting in healthcare Healthcare and continuing care experience strongly preferred HUD, cost reporting, and GAGAS experience preferred Experience supervising staff and managing engagements Strong research, writing, communication, and presentation skills Proficiency in accounting and auditing software CPA required; Single Audit experience a plus As a recruitment and workforce management service, we are committed to promoting equal employment opportunity in all recruitment processes.
