Carboline is seeking a Corporate Event Planner to lead the planning and execution of trade shows, customer events, conferences, and more! In this role, you'll combine creativity, organization, and strategic thinking to deliver impactful events that strengthen our brand, engage customers, and support business growth.Location: St. Louis, MOMinimum Requirements:Associate's degree in Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design or equivalent experience5+ years of event planning experience in a B2B environmentStrong project management, communication, and organizational skillsExperience managing budgets, vendors, and contracts, and design experience preferredPhysical Requirements:Requires extended computer use and up to 35% travel. No unusual lifting or environmental requirements.Essential Functions:Lead the planning and execution of trade shows, customer events, conferences, and company meetings from concept through completionCreate engaging event experiences that strengthen customer relationships, elevate the Carboline brand, and support business objectivesResearch venues, negotiate contracts, and manage vendor partnerships to deliver high-quality events on budgetOversee all event logistics, including registrations, travel, accommodations, catering, audiovisual needs, signage, and event materialsManage event budgets, track expenses, and identify opportunities to maximize value and ROICoordinate sponsorships, invitations, attendee communications, and post-event follow-upPartner closely with Sales, Marketing, and leadership teams to align events with strategic goals and ensure flawless executionEvaluate trade show and event opportunities, recommending participation based on business impact and budget considerationsDrive event timelines, manage multiple priorities, and ensure all deliverables are completed accurately and on scheduleMeasure event success, gather feedback, and implement improvements for future programsChampion the Company's safety and quality initiativesWho We Are:Carboline is a St. Louis-based coatings manufacturer with a global reach.
