Davis Staffing is seeking reliable and detail-oriented Battery Pack Packers / Packaging Associates for a manufacturing facility in Matteson, IL. In this role, you will package finished battery products, perform quality inspections, apply shipping labels, and prepare products for storage and shipment. This is a great opportunity for individuals who enjoy hands-on work in a fast-paced production environment.
Job Qualifications Include:- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Previous manufacturing, warehouse, or packaging experience is a plus
- Ability to follow written instructions and safety procedures
- Strong attention to detail and quality standards
- Basic math and counting skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with barcode scanners or warehouse systems is helpful but not required
- Knowledge of battery handling or shipping regulations is a plus
- Package finished battery products according to company specifications and quality standards
- Inspect batteries and packaging materials for defects, damage, or contamination
- Apply labels, barcodes, and shipping documentation accurately
- Assemble cartons, inserts, and protective packaging materials
- Operate packaging equipment such as sealers, labelers, pallet wrappers, and banders
- Palletize and prepare finished products for warehouse storage or shipment
- 12 hour shift
- 8:00 am - 8:00 pm
- $17 an hour
