We pride ourselves on providing our customers with exceptional service and a broad inventory, including stainless steel pipes, tubes, fittings, and a variety of alloys. Our headquarters and primary processing center are located in GA, with mill depots across the country ensuring prompt delivery of our products.
- Manage the recruitment process from job posting to candidate selection, including job descriptions, screening resumes, and conducting interviews.
- Maintain employee records and personal data while ensuring compliance with labor laws and regulations.
- Assist in the implementation of HR policies, programs, and initiatives, including employee training and performance management systems.
- Provide support in the onboarding process, ensuring new hires have a positive orientation experience.
- Respond to employee inquiries regarding HR policies, procedures, and benefits.
- Support employee engagement and relationships through regular communication, conflict resolution, and facilitation of workforce activities.
- Participate in the development of compensation and benefits strategies, alongside market rate analysis.
- Collaborate with management to address HR issues and provide recommendations to enhance employee satisfaction and performance.
- Maintain the HR database and prepare reports as necessary to track metrics and effectiveness of HR initiatives.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in HR management.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- General Labor Recruiting Experience
- Strong knowledge of HR practices, labor laws, and regulations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and manage time effectively.
- A minimum of 2 years' experience in HR roles, preferably in manufacturing or distribution environments.
- Experience with HR software and applicant tracking systems.
- Proven track record of successfully managing recruitment and employee engagement initiatives.
