Responsible for preparing, cooking, and serving menu items while maintaining high standards of food safety, cleanliness, and customer satisfaction.
Purpose of the RoleTo execute all kitchen operations, ensuring all prepared foods meet restaurant safety and health standards, and to deliver quality, consistent service to customers dqjobs.ca.
Essential FunctionsFood Preparation: Cook, assemble, and package menu items accurately following company recipes and food safety standards Workstream.
Equipment Operation: Safely operate and maintain kitchen equipment such as grills, fryers, and freezers dqjobs.ca+1.
Inventory Management: Stock ingredients, rotate inventory, and complete prep tasks efficiently Workstream.
Cleanliness & Organization: Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work area; clean and stock prep areas daily dqjobs.ca.
Customer Service: Communicate clearly and respectfully with team members and customers; respond promptly to customer needs dqjobs.ca+1.
Shift Duties: Support opening, closing, and shift changes; report equipment issues or safety concerns to supervisors Workstream.
Team Collaboration: Work as part of a team to ensure consistent quality, service, cleanliness, and value
