Supervisor, QC Analytical Lab - Full Time w/ Full Benefits Package - M - F, First Shift - Lenexa, Kansas (KS)

As a Supervisor, Bioanalytical Services at ICON, you will oversee the daily operations of the bioanalytical laboratory, ensuring the accurate and timely analysis of biological samples to support clinical research projects.

We are currently seeking a Supervisor for our QC Analytical Lab in Lenexa, Kansas (KS). The Supervisor, Bioanalytical Services (QC Analytical) is responsible for leading and managing a team of scientists to complete GMP Quality Control testing services that achieve quality standard and timeline requirements.

What You Will Do:

You will manage day-to-day bioanalytical services activities, supporting your team to deliver quality outcomes.

• Supervising and managing the bioanalytical services team, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and adherence to standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Overseeing the planning and execution of bioanalytical studies, including execution of HPLC methods, FTIR, Endotoxin, Dissolution, Karl Fisher, Conductivity, Osmometer, liquid sampler, Disintegration, Visible inspection, and Appearance.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including project management and quality assurance, to ensure timely delivery of accurate analytical results.
• Implementing and monitoring quality control measures to maintain laboratory standards and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Providing training and mentorship to laboratory staff, promoting professional development and a culture of scientific excellence.

Your Profile:

You will have solid bioanalytical services experience, with the ability to manage competing priorities and develop your team.

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant scientific discipline or healthcare-related field
• Strong quality control (QC) and GMP experience in a related analytical environment
• Significant experience in bioanalytical laboratory operations, with a strong understanding of regulatory requirements in the pharmaceutical industry.
• Strong leadership skills, with experience managing teams and driving collaboration in a fast-paced laboratory environment.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on attention to detail and data integrity.
• Effective communication skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
