As a Security Officer Reception Security in Boston, MA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Join Allied Universal at a professional healthcare location where you will serve at the front desk, greeting visitors, managing access, and supporting security-related operations through clear communication and attentive presence. In this highly visible role, you will help to deter incidents while delivering outstanding customer service. Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $24.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, front desk protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a healthcare location.
• Monitor access at the front desk by verifying visitor credentials, maintaining visitor logs, issuing badges, and communicating entry procedures in alignment with site policies.
• Respond to incidents, questions, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report security-related concerns to the appropriate contacts.
• Support daily front desk operations by answering phones, directing guests to the proper department, observing lobby activity, and documenting security-related incidents and/or unusual activity.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Client requires proof of a high school diploma or GED.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
