The core responsibilities of this role include: Schedule daily maintenance work. Perform repairs on forklifts, conveyors, maintenance equipment, and other warehouse power equipment. Conduct preventive maintenance on all machines and equipment to ensure service reliability. Review pre-trip and post-trip inspection forms to identify immediate maintenance requirements. Ensure all maintenance work, whether performed internally or externally, meets company standards. Monitor vehicle condition and performance to ensure compliance with company driving policies. Manage parts inventory at the most economical level to support efficient operations. Maintain a clean, neat, and orderly work area. Maintain HVAC systems. Perform minor water and electrical repairs as needed. Carry out general maintenance and carpentry work on floors, walls, doors, and other facility components. Ensure all safety equipment is in proper working order. Complete required reports upon completion of maintenance tasks. Respond to security and alarm calls as needed.

Position: Maintenance Mechanic

Available Shifts:

• 1st Shift

- Hours: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM

- Days: Monday – Friday

• 2nd Shift

- Hours: 3:30 PM – 11:30 PM

- Days: Sunday - Thursday

• Weekend Shift

- Hours: 6:30 AM – 6:00 PM

- Days: Friday, Saturday, Sunday

Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour + Shift Differential (2nd & Weekend Shift ONLY)

Required Qualifications: 2 + years of previous facility maintenance experience; 6 months related experience, Equipment maintenance experience.

Role Purpose :

Maintain and repair the warehouse vehicles including all forklift, trailers, conveyors and power equipment. Provide mechanical support, including diagnosis and solution, for a dedicated delivery system including preventative maintenance, major repairs, and accident repairs. Also responsible for the general maintenance of the building and facilities including water, heating, air conditioning, and electrical maintenance.

• Perform preventative maintenance programs on all machines and equipment to ensure service reliability.
• Review pre-trip and post-trip inspection forms for immediate maintenance requirements.
• Ensure all maintenance work performed both internally and externally is performed to company standards.
• Monitor vehicle condition and performance to ensure driver compliance of company driving policies.
• Manage parts inventory at the most economic level for efficient operation of the system.
• Maintain a clean, neat and orderly work area.
• Maintain HVAC system.
• Do minor maintenance as needed for water and electrical repairs.
• Carry out preventative maintenance programs.
• Perform maintenance or general carpentry on items such as floors, walls, doors, etc.
• Ensure all safety equipment is in proper working order.
• Complete required reports when maintenance tasks are completed.
• Answer security/alarm calls as needed.

Required Education and Experience :

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Pass Department of Transportation exam
• Pass a mechanical aptitude test
• 2+ years of previous facility maintenance experience
• 6 months related experience
• 2-5 years equipment maintenance experience
• 1 year of fleet experience
