As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Customer Service Patrol in Naperville, IL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer at a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $21.00 / Hour Job Schedule: Thur: 04:00 PM - 02:00 AM Fri: 04:00 PM - 02:00 AM Sat: 04:00 PM - 02:00 AM Sun: 04:00 PM - 02:00 AM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and vendors at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site procedures. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns. Monitor access points, verify credentials as required, and maintain awareness of visitor and contractor activity in accordance with site policies. Prepare clear, accurate reports for incidents, patrol observations, and security-related activities, and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership. Minimum Requirements: CPR certification is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
