TheAssistantProjectManagerworksalongsideProjectManagers,ProjectExecutives,andfieldleadershiptohelpkeepcommercialHVACprojectsorganized,onschedule,andwithinbudget.Thisisahands-onopportunitytolearntheconstructionprojectmanagementprocesswhilegainingexperienceinprojectcoordination,scheduling,BIM/Revit,materials,costtracking,andfieldoperations. WhatYou'llDo AssistProjectManagersandProjectExecutiveswithplanningandcoordinatingcommercialHVACprojects. Supportprojectscheduling,milestonetracking,anddailyprojectactivities. Workwithfieldforemenandcrewstohelpkeepprojectsonscheduleandmeetingexpectations. Assistwith RevitandStratus drafting,3Dmodeling,shopdrawings,andprojectupdates. HelpcoordinateHVACdesignswithothertradesandidentifypotentialconflictsbeforeinstallation. Assistwithmaterialtake-offs,equipmentcounts,andprocurement. Trackequipmentandmaterialdeliveriestoensurecrewshavewhattheyneedwhentheyneedit. Monitorlaborproductivityandprojectcostsagainstestablishedbudgets. AssistwithsubmittalsandRequestsforInformation(RFIs). Helpmaintainprojectdocumentation,dailylogs,meetingminutes,progressreports,andotherprojectrecords. SupportProjectManagerswithbilling,changeorders,scheduling,andotherprojectneeds. Communicatewithprojectteams,engineers,architects,vendors,andotherprojectstakeholders. Identifyopportunitiestoimproveprojectworkflowsandefficiency. Idealcandidateswillhave: Adegree,technicaleducation,orrelevantexperiencein constructionmanagement,engineering,HVAC,drafting,orarelatedfield . Strongorganizationalandtime-managementskills. Goodwrittenandverbalcommunicationskills. Strongattentiontodetailandproblem-solvingability. Basiccomputerskillsandtheabilitytolearnnewsoftwareandsystems. Theabilitytoworkeffectivelywithbothofficeandfieldteams. AwillingnesstolearnconstructionprocessesandcommercialHVACoperations. WhyJoinJMMechanical?
