Clinical / Medical Laboratory Scientist - Travel Job

Jackson HealthPros is hiring a Clinical / Medical Laboratory Scientist (formerly Medical Technologist) to perform diagnostic testing on patient samples and analyze test results for accuracy, acceptability, and critical limits to aid physicians in the diagnosis or monitoring of various disease states.

Minimum Requirements:

• Associate or bachelor's degree in related field as required by individual clients
• Valid ASCP or AMT certification required
• In licensure states, Laboratory Licensure in appropriate specialty for the department or location assignment as applicable to the state
• 1 year of experience as a CLS / MLS / Med Tech
• BLS certification
• Minimum 2 years of core lab experience in chemistry, coagulation, and hematology
• Must be able to work hematology, chemistry, coagulation, and urinalysis benches and perform body fluid cell counts
• Experience with Beckman AU 5800 and DXi 800 instrumentation
• Nicotine-free compliance required

Assignment Details

• 8-hour shifts
• Shift hours: 10:30 PM - 7:00 AM
• Client may consider an alternate 4x10 schedule if indicated
• Rotating every third weekend
• Rotating holidays
• Expected hours: 40 per week
