Recognized as a Great Place to Work for the past five years and named to Modern Healthcare's Best Places to Work 2026, as well as being an industry thought leader featured at SXSW and in the Wall Street Journal and Economist, we invite you to make a real difference in healthcare with us.Job PurposeAs a Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing projects and working closely with clinical staff, external customers, web and mobile software developers, and quality assurance testers within a fast-paced environment.ResponsibilitiesCoordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projectsDefine the project scope and objectives, involve all relevant stakeholders and ensure technical feasibilityDevelop and manage sustainment project plans that establish scope, timelines, and resource requirements.Develop a detailed project plan to monitor and track progressReport and escalate to management as neededCoordinate with internal and external team members.Clarify requirements to ensure project execution according to plan. Identify and mitigate project risks.Manage external vendors throughout the delivery lifecycle.Lead contracting and project execution, ensuring accountability and project delivery according to time, scope, budget, and quality.Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniquesCollaborate across global enterprise to deliver quality products.Track project performance, specifically to analyze the successful completion of short- and long-term goalsRequired Skills & Experience5 years' experience in project and product managementProficient in project life cycle from initiation through closureHave a solid understanding of SDLC methodologies, product development and change managementDemonstrated progressive experience in managing projects.Demonstrated ability to use project management tools such as Microsoft Project, Microsoft Visio and Microsoft Office Suite.Excellent client-facing and internal communication skillsStrong organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skillsExperience in using Atlassian tools like JIRA and ConfluenceExperience with process improvement and inventory controlProficiencies include a solid understanding of software development lifecycle methodologies, product development and change management.Welldoc operates in ISO 13485 and MDSAP regulated and HITRUST and SOC 2 Type II compliant environments. Therefore, it is expected that all employees will have either, prior experience working in those environments or, will be trained to understand the requirements needed to work and support those requirements and culture as they relate to individual roles and responsibilities.Required EducationBachelor's Degree in appropriate field of study or equivalent work experienceProject Management Professional (PMP) / PRINCE II certification is preferredCompensation & BenefitsWelldoc offers a competitive compensation package which, in addition to salary, includes generous PTO, medical insurance, dental insurance, vision care, life and disability insurance, retirement benefits .and the opportunity to participate in health savings accounts and/or dependent care accounts. While the anticipated salary range for this position is between $90,000-$130,000/year with the expectation that most candidates will fall around the midpoint of the range.
