District Sales Manager

Job Description Cornerstone Building Brands, headquartered in Cary, North Carolina, is the largest manufacturer of exterior building products in North America, with a broad product range that includes vinyl windows, vinyl siding, metal accessories, metal roofing and wall systems, and insulated metal panels. This role reports to the Regional Manager and is responsible for the profitable growth and market development of the territory within MBCI’s Commercial Roof & Wall segment, selling to sub-contractors, general contractors, and roofing contractors. Direct sales to sub-contractors, general contractors & roofing contractors. Develops and implements market plans that include customer analysis, competitive insights, growth opportunities, and revenue goals. Comprehensive understanding of all products and systems offered by Cornerstone Building Brands in the market. Demonstrates a complete understanding of key customer’s business and the critical measures that drive each account. Works effectively and collaboratively with all Cornerstone Building Brands internal departments to ensure customer experience is optimized and efficient. Ability to work with Operating Systems. Qualifications Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate and maintain positive relationships with all CBB associates, customers, subsidiaries, agents and sales force. Must be flexible to maximize business opportunities as they arise. Minimum of 8 years of proven sales/marketing and/or sales management experience. Experience in commercial construction and/or building materials. Pre-engineered metal buildings experience preferred. Ability to analyze market conditions and competition and develop strategic responses to opportunities. Strong understanding of Marketing, Finance, and Operations. Ability to work independently and in a team environment. Must be able to coordinate multiple projects simultaneously. Ability to travel 50% - 60% of the time (2-3 overnights a week). Benefits The US base salary range for this full‑time position is $85,000 - $95,000 plus bonus and medical, dental, vision benefits starting day 1, 401(k), and PTO.
