Credit Analyst ICorporate - Newton, NC 28658OverviewLevel Experienced Position Type Full Time Job Shift DayDescriptionDevelops and analyzes all types of credit information pertaining to diverse types of commercial loans; assists in preparing periodic reports for use by management. Assists in the preparation and maintenance of commercial credit files for external loan review.QualificationsRequired Education/Knowledge:Bachelor's Degree from an accredited four-year universityKnowledge of bank credit policy and proceduresSuperior knowledge of commercial loan documentation requirements, regulations and Bank policyUnderstanding of credit underwriting issues associated with a wide variety of businessPreferred Education/Knowledge:Knowledge of other areas of bank operationsRequired Experience:0 to 2 years' experience in a lending environment of a financial institutionPrevious loan documentation and underwriting experiencePreferred Experience:Previous loan documentation and underwriting experienceRequired Skills:Proficiency with PC including Word and ExcelCalculator skillsWell-developed communication skillsAbility to deal with customers, co-workers and attorneysAbility to spread and analyze financial statements and tax returns (beneficial)
