Employee Type Exempt FT Description Provide direct support to the firm’s Director of Accounting/Controller Independently applies a thorough knowledge of current principles and practices Applies knowledge and expertise to resolve crucial issues and/or unique conditions Keeps informed of new methods and developments affecting his or her organization Works on a major project or several projects of moderate scope with complex features Prepare monthly invoices and project management reports Monitor and track accounts receivable Assist with collections of delinquent accounts receivable Prepare and maintain project budget, income, and costs Audit selected projects for financial performance Answer inquiries from staff, vendors and clients Communicate financial information to project managers and administration Assist project managers with fee proposals Maintain relationships with accountants, vendors, clients and bankers Prepare monthly, quarterly and year-end financial statements Perform special accounting projects as required Support Administrative Assistants as needed Requirements Preferred BS in accounting or finance from an ABET accredited program 3-5 Years experience in accounting Microsoft Office Suite Accounting Software Strong organizational, data management, and communications skills Summary Responsible for day-to-day accounting functions, such as accounts receivable, accounts payable, project accounting, company finances, analyzing financial records and reporting results, resolving financial discrepancies, and general administrative support. #J-18808-Ljbffr
