Join Our Orthopedic and Sports Medicine Team

We are looking for a fellowship-trained Orthopedic Surgeon with a focus on Sports Medicine to become part of our Orthopedic and Sports Medicine group located in South Portland, Maine. Our team consists of 25 surgeons, primary care sports medicine physicians, and advanced practice providers dedicated to delivering exceptional specialty care, including:

• Orthopedic Trauma
• Sports Medicine Surgery
• Upper Extremity Care
• Joint Replacement
• Pediatric Orthopedics
• Spine Care
• Hand and Foot & Ankle Treatments

What We Offer

This position provides a collaborative, team-based care model that includes:

• Partnership with Primary Care Sports Medicine and Athletic Trainers across various settings (team, school, and office)
• A comprehensive statewide network for athletic team coverage, catering to both high school and professional athletes
• Significant growth and investment in Orthopedics and Sports Medicine, including a new Ambulatory Surgical Center and an Orthopedic Center of Excellence, both set to open in 2027
• Opportunities for academic teaching and research in collaboration with Tufts University School of Medicine

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive compensation package that includes:

• An annual base salary of $600,000
• Relocation assistance

Qualifications

We are seeking candidates who meet the following criteria:

• MD/DO from an accredited medical institution
• Fellowship training in Orthopedic Sports Surgery
• Board Certified or Eligible in Orthopedic Surgery
