Lab Technician

Our client, a leading organization in the manufacturing and analytical testing industry, is seeking a Lab Technician to join their team. As a Lab Technician, you will be part of the Quality Control Department supporting manufacturing activities. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, proactive problem-solving skills, and a collaborative mindset, which will align successfully within the organization. Job Title: Lab Technician Pay: $20/hr Location: Franklin Township, NJ 6 Month contract What's the Job? Perform analytical chemistry testing, primarily focusing on preservatives and active ingredients, in a fast-paced environment. Analyze test data and use professional judgment to determine the appropriate disposition of materials based on specifications and organizational guidelines. Conduct all required tests on relevant samples following company specifications and test methods, utilizing DGO and FDA guidelines as references. Ensure traceability paperwork such as lab notebooks, Certificates of Analysis, and result reports are accurate and complete. Participate in investigations related to out-of-specification results, communicate findings effectively, and support decision-making processes. What's Needed? BS degree in Chemistry or a relevant science field. 0-3 years of experience with HPLC / ICP-OES techniques. Strong sense of urgency and commitment to resolving issues efficiently. Conscientious, positive attitude, self-motivated, reliable, and responsible. Excellent laboratory skills with a proven record of quantitative analysis excellence. What's in it for me?
