Chief Estimator

We are seeking a highly skilled Chief Estimator to lead our estimating department and provide expertise in cost estimation for a variety of construction projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the preparation and management of project estimates, ensuring accuracy and thoroughness in all calculations. You will collaborate closely with project managers, architects, and contractors to gather necessary information and assess project requirements. Your role will also involve analyzing historical data and market trends to develop competitive and comprehensive bids that align with company standards and client expectations.


In this position, you will mentor and train junior estimators while fostering a collaborative team environment. You will be tasked with evaluating subcontractor proposals and performing detailed risk assessments to identify potential challenges that could impact project timelines and budgets. Strong communication and negotiation skills are essential, as you will be responsible for presenting estimates to stakeholders and addressing any queries they may have. The successful candidate will possess a deep understanding of construction methods, materials, and industry regulations, as well as proficiency in estimating software and tools. A degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field, along with extensive experience in estimating within the construction sector, is required.
