What You Will Do

• Evaluate test results for accuracy, troubleshoot discrepancies, and carry out preventative maintenance and calibration on laboratory instruments.
• Support specimen collection and prepare samples for diagnostic testing, doing what it takes to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Keep detailed records of all processes, mentor incoming staff or students, and maintain the highest standards of lab quality.
• Uphold a safe and clean working environment, ensuring adherence to regulatory and accreditation standards.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or an equivalent allied health qualification, along with ASCP/AMT certification preparation.

Certifications

• ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) must be obtained within one year of hire.
• Current certification must be maintained throughout your employment.
