Accountant

CGP Search is partnering with a growing industrial services organization to identify an Accountant / Senior Accountant for a newly created opportunity in Tampa, Florida. This role is ideal for an accounting professional who enjoys taking ownership, improving processes, and working in a fast-paced, project-driven environment with strong long-term growth potential. Location Key Responsibilities Manage day-to-day accounting operations for a business unit. Own the end-to-end billing and invoicing process. Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and support month-end close. Partner with operations and project teams to ensure accurate financial reporting. Monitor accounts receivable and support collections activities. Drive process improvements and strengthen accounting controls. Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis. What We're Looking For Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. 4–8+ years of progressive accounting experience. Experience in construction, industrial services, manufacturing, field services, or other project-based industries is highly preferred. Strong understanding of month-end close, reconciliations, billing, and financial reporting. Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a high-volume environment.
