The Guest Service Associate plays a key role in this by providing friendly, efficient service throughout the guest’s stay. Compensation Hourly base pay: $10 per hour plus $5–$10 per hour in tips. Actual compensation is based on the candidate’s skills, experience, education or training, and location. Work Schedule Shift times may include AM, PM, or other arrangements as needed. Summary The Guest Service Associate delivers outstanding hospitality to guests, manages parking and vehicle retrieval, assists with luggage, and ensures a welcoming environment through courteous interactions and efficient service. Parks and retrieves vehicles safely while driving slowly and cautiously; assists with bell services and luggage storage as needed (20%). Assists guests with directions, taxis, reservations, and other inquiries; provides information about the facility and local attractions (10%). Explains parking rates, issuance of claim checks, and collects payment; maintains accurate ticket and key information (35%). Qualifications Education: High school diploma or GED. Licensure: Valid driver’s license for the state where the position is located. Work Experience: One (1) month related experience or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Knowledge: Understanding of customer service principles, standard English language, standard math operations, 24‑hour time, and relevant rates; ability to operate a manual transmission and perform parallel parking. Skills: • Read and write standard English; • Comprehend simple instructions; • Write simple correspondence; • Present information in one‑on‑one and small group settings; • Perform basic arithmetic with American currency; • Manage 24‑hour and military time systems. Scope & Authority The role follows established practices and procedures; decisions are made within specific operational guidelines. Incumbents must perform routine duties and may act within defined operational boundaries. Working Conditions & Physical Demands Work is typically outdoors for extended periods, subject to environmental conditions such as extreme heat and cold. Travel up to 5% of time may be required. Regularly required to talk or hear; frequently required to sit or stand for extended periods; may be required to run; walk; handle objects; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; balance; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. Specific vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and adjusting focus. Lifting up to 100 pounds occasionally, or up to 50 pounds frequently, or up to 20 pounds constantly.
