Clinical Study Planning & Scheduling Lead

Thermo Fisher Scientific seeks a Clinical Study Planning & Scheduling Lead to manage integrated study calendars across three clinical research units, coordinating early-phase study placement and portfolio scheduling while balancing operational constraints and business needs.
Responsibilities
- Own and maintain integrated study calendars across Austin, Las Vegas, and Prague clinical research units
- Evaluate prospective and awarded studies to develop scheduling plans based on protocol requirements and site constraints
- Evaluate schedule changes and their portfolio impacts, implementing adjustments and escalating major decisions to leadership
- Facilitate cross-functional study placement discussions with site leadership, investigators, recruitment, and business development teams
- Coordinate administrative activities for the Human Safety Committee including submissions, reviews, meetings, and documentation
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent formal academic or vocational qualification
- 0-2 years of related experience in clinical operations or trial management
- Knowledge of clinical trial processes and early-phase CRU operations
- Ability to interpret study protocols and identify scheduling requirements
- Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
- Time management and ability to prioritize multiple concurrent activities
