TITLE
Registered Nurse - Medical/Surgical

SCHEDULE
Shift: 6:30 AM - 7:00 PM

ASSIGNMENT DETAILS
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Guaranteed Hours: 36.00

REQUIREMENTS
- Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice: Required
- Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor: Required
- AHA-ACLS or ARC-ALS certification: Required
- At least two years recent experience in the field: Required

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Deliver coordinated nursing care for a patient or an assigned group of patients according to established standards of care.
- Supervise and direct the activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff.
- Collaborate with a team of patients, families, and healthcare providers in providing patient care in a safe and humane environment.
- Implement and evaluate care plans while utilizing critical thinking and professional discretion.
- Participate in discharge planning to provide continuity of care.
- Provide learning opportunities and health information to patients and family members.
