Nursing Manager

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Nurse Manager to lead our Med-Surg Cardiac/Telemetry/Renal Department. This role requires a motivated professional with exceptional leadership skills, clinical expertise, and most of all a passion for delivering high-quality patient care. About the Role The Nurse Manager will oversee the daily operations of the department, ensuring compliance with healthcare standards, fostering staff development, and driving performance excellence. Responsibilities Provide leadership and direction to the team, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and excellence in patient care. Oversee the daily operations of the department, including staffing, scheduling, and resource management. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, accreditation standards, and organizational policies. Monitor and evaluate patient outcomes, implementing quality improvement initiatives to enhance care delivery. Serve as a mentor and advocate for nursing staff, promoting professional development, education, and certification opportunities. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure effective communication, coordination, and continuity of care. Manage the department budget, controlling costs while maintaining high standards of care and service. Address patient and family concerns with professionalism and sensitivity, ensuring a patient-centered approach to care. Participate in strategic planning and contribute to the overall success of the organization. Qualifications Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required Licensure: Current RN license in GA required. Experience: Minimum of 3-5+ years of clinical nursing experience in a Cardiac-Telemetry acute care setting and 2+ years in a management or assistant management role. Required Skills Strong understanding of healthcare regulations, standards, and best practices. Excellent organizational, problem‑solving, and communication skills. Ability to lead, inspire, and manage a diverse team in a fast‑paced environment. Preferred Skills Experience in a leadership role within a healthcare setting. Advanced certifications related to nursing management. Pay range and compensation package Salary: Up to $60/Hour and $10k sign on bonus depending on experience.
