Job Description:

This position is for the Med Surg/Tele Renal 4 South unit caring for patients with kidney-related conditions. Nurses are responsible for a 1:6 ratio, specializing in post-hemodialysis and ongoing peritoneal dialysis.

Responsibilities:

Care for patients with kidney-related conditions, such as acute or chronic kidney disease
Collaborate with community nephrologists, family practice providers, and hospitalists
Float to other units and hospitals as needed
Maintain accurate and timely documentation using Meditech

Requirements:

AHA or ARC BLS certification
AL or Compact License (No temp Licenses accepted)
2 years of experience preferred; 18 months acceptable
1 year of experience in the field of specialty required
ASN degree
