Mechanical Engineer, PE | MEP Engineering
An established MEP consulting engineering firm is seeking a Mechanical Engineer, PE to design and coordinate building mechanical systems across a diverse portfolio of projects, including healthcare, commercial, institutional, and other complex building environments.
Responsibilities
Design HVAC systems, ductwork, hydronic piping, controls, and related mechanical systems.
Perform load calculations, equipment selection, and engineering evaluations.
Prepare construction drawings, specifications, and technical documents.
Serve as Engineer of Record on assigned projects.
Coordinate designs with multidisciplinary teams and mentor junior staff.
Support construction through site visits, submittal reviews, RFIs, and technical guidance.
Ensure designs meet applicable codes, standards, and project requirements.
Requirements
Active Professional Engineer (PE) license.
Bachelor's degree in Engineering from an accredited institution.
Minimum 4 years of relevant experience as a licensed professional.
Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD MEP, Microsoft Office, and TRACE or similar load-calculation software.
Strong technical, communication, and coordination skills.
