Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit - Travel Registered Nurse - $2270 per week.

Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM

Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• 2 years of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience with any experience within the last 36 months (3 years).

• Experience with Epic is required.

• Trauma Level 2 experience is preferred.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Wisconsin license or compact license (required for submission).

• This role will require floating to multiple units

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.

• Flu vaccination required for submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• 12 months gap required between for Staff at Program: Vaya Workforce Solutions - University of Wisconsin Health and no current placement allowed at Program: Vaya Workforce Solutions - University of Wisconsin Health.

Additional Details:

You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.

Required Skills/Experience: - Ostomy care.

Preferred Skills/Experience: - Teaching hospital experience is preferred. - Community hospital experience is preferred.

Unit Details: - Adult and geriatric patient population. - General surgery unit caring for abdominal organs including the stomach, small bowel, colon, liver, pancreas, gallbladder, bile ducts, and breast disease. - Complex abdominal surgeries, including colorectal, surgical oncology, and emergency general surgery. - Frequently cares for post-operative patients with NG tubes, feeding tubes with tube feeding, PICC lines, TPN, J-tubes, G-tubes, drains, ileostomies, colostomies, PCAs, epidurals, wound VACs, ostomy education, and wound care.

Shift & Scheduling: - Weekend rotation and holidays as needed.

14 days maximum time off

1 Charge/Lead/Supervisor reference required from within the last 12 months
