Job Title: CT Technologist

Certifications: BLS Certification, Certified CT Technologist - ARRT (CT)

Must-Have:
GE experience required

Description:
Client auto deducts the 1.75 WA state tax.
Candidates are able to re-add that back in.
Clinical profile review and the manager will conduct interviews.
Must provide a radiation badge.
Radiology CT notes obtained by general certification requirements (BLS, etc.).
ARRT (CT) certification required.
CT certification is preferred but not required.
The department has two scanners.
Candidates will not need to float or cover any other areas.
Imaging/studies performed include inpatient ages 15 and up and outpatient ER.
Commonly performed studies include general CT studies.
Average number of scans/studies per day is 50-60.
The electronic medical records and PACS system used is EPIC and McKesson.
Department-specific equipment includes GE.
There is a supervisor for Monday through Friday.
Evening shifts will have a lead tech for X-ray.
Radiologists are on site 24/7 during the day.
Radiologists are off-site after 5 PM and on weekends.
Starting IVs is required in this department.
Preferred shifts are Tuesday through Friday, from 11:00 AM to 9:30 PM.
There is no weekend rotation required.
Holiday rotation will occur with permanent staff.
There are no set call requirements.
Professional scrubs will be worn.
The department-specific orientation lasts one week.
Candidates should be team players and able to function independently.
The hospital can cancel up to 4 shifts per 13-week assignment.
