We're looking for an Accounting Specialist II - Accounts Payable to play a critical role in managing our accounts payable operations, supporting financial reporting, and helping drive process improvements across the organization. You'll work closely with leadership, vendors, and internal departments to ensure financial accuracy, improve operational efficiency, and contribute to a strong accounting function that supports the firm's continued growth. Accounts Payable & Invoice Processing Code invoices to the appropriate general ledger accounts and cost centers General Ledger & Account Reconciliations Reconcile cash, credit card, and other general ledger accounts Serve as a primary point of contact for vendor inquiries Assist with vendor onboarding and account maintenance Financial Reporting & Analysis Support the preparation of weekly, monthly, and quarterly financial reports Provide reporting and analysis to support informed business decisions Documentation & Audit Support Maintain organized and accurate financial records Prepare supporting schedules and documentation for audits and financial reviews Help improve communication and efficiency between accounting and operational departments Process Improvement Contribute ideas that reduce costs and enhance financial operations High-quality account reconciliations Strong financial reporting support Meaningful contributions to process improvements and operational efficiency Excellent internal and external customer service 3+ years of experience in accounts payable, accounting operations, or another high-volume transaction environment ~ Demonstrated progression in responsibility within previous accounting roles ~ Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial processes ~ Experience reconciling general ledger accounts and resolving discrepancies ~ Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Excel ~ Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field Experience working in a professional services or law firm environment Process improvement or automation experience Work directly with experienced accounting leadership Opportunity to make a meaningful impact on financial operations Grow your accounting career with increasing responsibility and professional development Employer-paid Medical, dental, and vision insurance ~ Life insurance ~401(k) retirement plan ~ We strive to attract and retain top talent and one of the many tools we use to measure our success is thru our partnership with Culture Index.
