We are looking for a Lab Tech for an immediate hire opportunity in Bridgewater, NJ! A metal heat treating manufacturing company is looking for skilled lab techs. If you are looking to continue your career in lab testing work while earning a great pay check, this is the position for you!

 

Schedule :

• 7:00am - 3:30pm (Flexible schedule available: 8:00am to 4:30pm)

 

Competitive Compensation Offered!

• $25/hr

 

Responsibilities:

• Mechanical testing of metals including hardness and micro hardness
• Understands various specifications including Nadcap; AS-9100 D; Military; ASTM; and AMS.
• Cold and hot mounting of test pieces
• Micro & Macro evaluation
• Sample prep for test specimens
• Responsible for all required record keeping

 

Qualifications:

• Microsoft Office experience
• Previous Laboratory Tech exp
• Previous experience in a manufacturing setting
• Ability to prioritize and multitask
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong attention to detail
• ​Strong organizational skills
