Ready to take ownership of an entire Fleet?

Location: DePere Headquarters office or Sheboygan facility at GP or at least the ability to be in Sheboygan facility a couple days a week.

This role will be solely responsible for the both the planning and driver manager accountabilities for either a medium sized fleet or several smaller fleets. You must be a motivated self-starter and willing to take on a challenge. You will be expected to plan drivers and freight while meeting customer expectations as well as manage driver engagement, retention, and overall scorecard performance. What Are Your Key Responsibilities?

• Responsible for direct supervision of a group of drivers, routes, and service to ensure the highest quality of customer service and safety.
• Build strong relationships with your driver team through integrity and accountability.
• Maintain high asset utilization to ensure profitability.
• Manage freight within the required HOS regulations and DOT regulations.
• Approve driver pay and driver bill of lading (BOL) submission.
• Be decisive, forward thinking, and provide solutions to driver needs and issues.
• Coach your driver team to success and safety compliance.
• Prepare and maintain driver schedule ensuring the correct number of drivers are on hand while monitoring hours worked.
• Build and maintain strong connection with customer.

• High School Diploma / GED required
• Two or more years of transportation experience preferred
• Leadership experience is preferred
• Excellent communications skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to work in a fast-paced team atmosphere
• Proficient in Microsoft products – Outlook, Excel, Word
• Ability to navigate through multiple computer systems
