Position Overview

Details of Responsibilities

• Conduct a range of ultrasound examinations, including but not limited to abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging

• Work hand-in-hand with radiologists and referring physicians to produce high-quality diagnostic images
• Manage and maintain imaging equipment, promptly addressing any malfunctions
• Ensure thorough documentation of procedures and upkeep of patient records within the electronic medical system
• Stay informed on the latest advancements in ultrasound imaging techniques and best practices

Education Requirements

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or relevant field
• CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program completion preferred

Required Certifications

• Valid certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or equivalent
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is preferred
