Sales Manager, Consumer Markets

Job Summary: This role is responsible for driving growth of Quectel business across North America within the Consumer Products vertical market with a key focus on wearables and connected cameras. This position reports to the Director of Sales, GNSS & Short Range and will work in tandem with the North American Regional Sales Managers and the Sales Representative network. The ideal candidate will maximize growth through dedicated focus on attacking competitor accounts, hunting and growing existing accounts. This fast-paced position will require focus and analytical approach to sales. Prior experience in consumer electronics, specifically Wearables or Cameras, is a must. Candidate must be in a major city within the U.S. Responsibilities: Hunting new Camera and Wearable customers: Investigate publicly available information on prospective customers that currently use competitors’ modules (competitor accounts) and actively grow sales funnel with the assistance of sales and marketing colleagues and industry ecosystem partners Qualify and reach out to leads to set roadmap meetings, introduce Quectel’s portfolio, and organize next steps which include sending an evaluation kit and a price quote Maintain funnel of prospective customers and ensure they move through the sales process of Customer Acquisition, Technical Evaluation, and Design Win Consumer Products support of NA Team: Work cross-functionally with management, sales, product management and R&D to support target customers. Requirements and Skills Bachelor degree in engineering preferred but not required. Sales or Product experience in consumer vertical markets of Wearables and Cameras is a must. Dynamic, self motivated, hard working professional who thrives in a very fast paced environment. Must have sense of urgency in all aspects of daily job. Strong oral, written, presentation and interpersonal skills. Salesforce, Sales Funnels, Sales Cycle understanding is a plus.
