Data & Analytics Product Owner

Salary: $139,000 - 179,000 per year Requirements:

• We expect 2–4 years of experience in product ownership, business analysis, or a similar role within data and analytics.
• We look for exposure to Agile or Scrum delivery methods.
• We value a basic grasp of data engineering concepts, data warehousing, or ETL workflows.
• We prefer familiarity with BI and analytics tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Looker, or comparable platforms.
• We seek understanding of data modeling or database design fundamentals.
• We need strong communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
• We want someone who can learn technical concepts quickly and explain them clearly to different audiences.
• We expect experience with, or a willingness to learn, user story writing, acceptance criteria, and backlog management.
• A CSPO, CSM, or similar Agile certification is preferred.
• Exposure to cloud data platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform is an advantage.
• Interest in data visualization design principles is preferred.

• We help shape product roadmaps for data and analytics initiatives.
• We translate business objectives into product requirements, features, and user stories.
• We prioritize backlog items with guidance from a solution manager and in coordination with product owners, product managers, and stakeholders.
• We serve as Product Owner for agile development teams or specific product features.
• We support backlog refinement, sprint planning, and story elaboration sessions.
• We actively join daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
• We provide input on scope and priorities to help teams deliver value efficiently.
• We work with the Scrum Master and RTEs to address team needs.
• We maintain communication between business stakeholders and development teams.
• We participate in stakeholder meetings to gather requirements and share updates.
• We help align technical capabilities with business needs.
• We assist in defining acceptance criteria for deliverables.
• We lead the development of analytics solutions, including BI products, data science, and AI-enabled data offerings.
• We review data products to confirm they meet quality standards and business expectations.
• We collaborate with data engineers and architects on data modeling and technical design.
• We apply best practices in data visualization, user experience, and analytics.
• We help define acceptance criteria for features, including data quality rules.
• We review completed work to ensure it matches requirements.
• We track product performance metrics and user adoption.
• We contribute to continuous improvement in product capabilities and team processes.
