Travel Nurse RN - CVICU - $2,851 per week

Prime Time Healthcare Nursing is seeking a travel nurse RN CVICU for a travel nursing job in Peoria, Illinois.

CVICU RN | OSF — Illinois

Shift: 12-hour nights, 7 PM–7 AM
Weekends/Holidays: Every other • Night weekends are Friday/Saturday
Scheduling: No block or self-scheduling
Unit: 20 private, monitored beds • Charting: Epic
Facility: Level I trauma
Ratios: 1:1, 1:2, or 2 RNs to 1 patient, based on acuity

Requirements

• Expected 3–5+ years of CVICU experience , with continued ICU travel assignments.
• Must independently manage the patient population and equipment; specialty training is not provided.
• AHA BLS required; ACLS preferred, CCRN a plus.
• Strong rhythm interpretation, assessment, and multiple-drip titration skills.
• Float to all levels of care and take a full patient assignment.
• BSN not required.

Clinical Population & Equipment

CABG/valve surgery, aortic and vascular procedures, STEMI/NSTEMI, cardiogenic shock, severe heart failure, TAVR, and ventilated patients. Equipment includes IABP, Impella, Swan-Ganz, ECMO, temporary pacemakers, and CRRT. Immediate postoperative, VAD, and transplant experience are not required per the additional notes.

Submission Requirements

Last 4 SSN digits, middle initial, all RTO, and active Illinois license or confirmation the application has begun. Must acknowledge the drug-free campus policy and produce a negative drug screen for all panels.

Assignment Notes

• Local status applies within 50 miles; local compensation requires confirmation.
• 12 hours of non-billable orientation; guaranteed hours do not apply during orientation.
• Facility may cancel up to 12 hours per 13 weeks without payment.
