Entry-Level Quality Inspector

It's time for you to grow where you're valued. Steel Tool & Engineering in Trenton, MI is hiring a full-time Entry-Level Quality Inspector ! In this role, you'll gain valuable hands-on experience, expand your industry knowledge, and grow your career potential.
What You'll Be Doing:- Maintaining high levels of precision, quality, and compliance with manufacturing standards
- Performing quality control inspections on tools, components, products, and engineering materials
- Accurately documenting product defects and recommending corrective actions
- Using various measurement tools (calipers, gauges, micrometers, etc.) to check product dimensions
- Maintaining inspection records and supporting quality control audits
- Helping internal teams solve problems, enhance the daily manufacturing activities, and execute continuous improvement/development strategies
- Competitive Pay: $19.25- $20.25 per hour
- Steady Schedule: 6:00 am to 4:30 pm

- Strong knowledge of measurement tools
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Ability to regularly lift heavy objects (50+ lbs.)
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks with few breaks
