The Packaging Machine Operator plays a vital role in ensuring efficient and accurate packaging processes within the production team. This position involves operating and monitoring packaging machinery during a single shift, handling routine packaging tasks as well as packaging new product lines, while maintaining safety and quality standards.

 

Responsibilities

• Set up packaging machines for daily production runs
• Monitor machine operation to ensure proper function
• Perform quality inspections of packaged products
• Troubleshoot mechanical issues to minimize downtime
• Follow safety protocols and maintain compliance
• Document production activities and machine performance
• Report issues and improvements to supervisors

 

Required Qualifications

• 1+ years experience in packaging operations
• Proficient in operating packaging machinery
• Knowledge of quality control procedures
• Mechanical troubleshooting skills
• Adherence to safety compliance standards
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Strong attention to detail
• Good manual dexterity
• Basic math skills
