Project Independence Services Inc is looking for a reliable and compassionate Driver to join our team in New Bedford, MA. Responsibilities:

• Safely transport clients to and from program.
• Assist passengers with boarding, exiting, and securing in the vehicle as needed
• Maintain a clean, safe, and well-functioning vehicle at all times
• Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers, staff, and clients regarding schedules and route changes
• Complete accurate trip logs, mileage reports, and other required documentation
• Respond promptly and professionally to client needs during transport

Requirements:

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Prior experience in passenger transport, paratransit, or a related driving role preferred
• Ability to assist individuals with disabilities or special needs in a respectful and patient manner
• Strong punctuality, reliability, and time management skills
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
• CPR/First Aid certification is a plus
• Strong communication and customer service skills
