Work Environment

The Nurse Practitioner will work onsite in a supportive school environment. Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing and medical services to students, including routine check-ups, immunizations, and acute care for common illnesses.

• Conduct health assessments and screenings, maintaining accurate record-keeping in compliance with school health regulations and standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will work primarily with a diverse population of children and adolescents, addressing a broad spectrum of health concerns, including preventative care, chronic illness management, and mental health support. Understanding of cultural sensitivities and the ability to relate to individuals from various backgrounds is crucial as you strive to create a safe and welcoming environment for all students and their families.

Qualifications

• Current and active state Nurse Practitioner license.
• A Master’s degree in Nursing from an accredited institution.
• Certification as a Nurse Practitioner, demonstrating adherence to national standards of practice.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits
